Itinerary

Day 1: Hanoi – Angel’s Eye Mountain – Ban Gioc Waterfall (~360km)
  • 06:00am – 06:30am: Pick-up from your hotel in the Hanoi Old Quarter to depart for Cao Bang.

  • 12:30pm – 01:00pm: Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.

  • Angel’s Eye Mountain: Visit Thung Mountain (Angel’s Eye), famous for its unique through-hole, located in Quang Uyen District.

  • Ban Gioc Waterfall: Explore one of the four most beautiful waterfalls located between two countries (Vietnam – China). You can take a boat trip near the falls.

  • 05:00pm – Check-in: Arrive at Khuoi Ky Stone Village; check into a homestay/hostel with free time to walk around.

  • 07:00pm: Dinner and overnight stay in the local village.

  • 07:00am: Breakfast and check-out.

  • 08:30am: Hike 300 steps to visit Ban Gioc Pagoda for a panoramic view of the waterfall and the Chinese border.

  • 10:40am: Discover Nguom Ngao Cave (Tiger Cave), famous for its incredible stalactites and stalagmites.

  • 12:40pm: Local lunch before returning to Cao Bang city.

  • 03:30pm: Board the bus/limousine for the return journey to Hanoi.

  • 09:30pm: Arrival and drop-off in Hanoi.
