Space on a motorbike is limited, so pack light in a small backpack. Essential items include:

  • Clothing: Layers are key. It can be hot in the valleys but very cold on the mountain passes.
  • Rain Gear: A high-quality raincoat or poncho (weather changes fast! – We have it for you).
  • Shoes: Sturdy sneakers or hiking boots with good grip.
  • Sun Protection: Sunscreen, sunglasses, and a buff/face mask for dust.

ATMs are available in Ha Giang City, Tam Son, and Dong Van Town. However, they can sometimes run out of cash or reject international cards. It is highly recommended to carry enough Vietnam Dong (VND) in cash for your entire journey to pay for local food and souvenirs.

Absolutely. You can book a Car Tour. This is a great option for families, seniors, or those who want to stay dry and comfortable while still seeing 100% of the incredible views.
