Itinerary

Day 0: Hanoi – Ha Giang

  • Hanoi → Ha Giang: Picked up from your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter (07:30pm – 08:00pm).

  • Departure: Sleeper bus leaves Hanoi at 09:00pm.

  • Arrival (03:30am): Arrive in Ha Giang city and check into a dorm room for a few hours of rest.

  • 09:00am – Briefing: Meet your English-speaking guide and easy rider to begin the journey.

  • Bac Sum → Quan Ba: Conquer Bac Sum Pass, visit Quan Ba Heaven Gate and the Twin Mountains.

  • Can Ty → Tham Ma Pass: Ride through scenic passes and the famous 9-turn Tham Ma slope.

  • H’mong King’s Palace: Explore the historic residence of the H’mong King.

  • 05:00pm – Check-in: Overnight in Dong Van with dinner and a “Happy water – Sunset party.”

  • 09:00am – Departure: Experience the legendary Ma Pi Leng Pass and the Happy Road.

  • Sky Path & Nho Que River: Trek the Sky Path for panoramic views and take a boat trip on the Nho Que River.

  • Meo Vac → Cao Bang: Continue the scenic drive through the rugged landscapes toward Cao Bang city.

  • 05:00pm – Check-in: Arrive in Cao Bang for dinner and an overnight stay at a homestay/hostel.

  • 09:00am – Departure: Visit the breathtaking Me Pia Pass (the famous 14-storey pass).

  • Ban Gioc Waterfall: Spend time at one of the world’s most beautiful waterfalls, including a boat trip near the falls and the Chinese border.

  • 05:00pm – Check-in: Overnight stay near the waterfall area to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere.

  • 08:00am – Departure: Visit Ban Gioc Pagoda for a panoramic view of the falls.

  • Nguom Ngao Cave: Explore “Tiger Cave,” one of the most spectacular stalactite systems in Northeast Vietnam.

  • Drive to Ba Be: Journey toward the lush landscapes of Ba Be National Park.

  • 05:00pm – Check-in: Arrive at a lakeside homestay for a local dinner and rest.

  • 09:00am – Lake Tour: Take a boat trip on Ba Be Lake, visiting An Ma Temple and the beautiful Widow Islet.

  • Ba Be → Bac Kan: Enjoy a final local lunch in the Phu Thong district.

  • 03:00pm – End Tour: Arrive back in Ha Giang or transit point for your return.

  • Return to Hanoi: Board the bus at 03:30pm or 06:00pm for the journey back to Hanoi.
