Itinerary

Key Differences

Ban An Stream/Cave: The “Bestselling” version includes an additional stop at Ban An Stream/Cave after visiting the M-shaped rock formation and before heading to Lung Ho village.

Experience: This addition provides a more diverse experience by adding a cave/stream exploration element to the mountainous landscape on the second day.

This is a special program that we have researched separately.

Day 0: Hanoi – Ha Giang

  • Hanoi → Ha Giang: Picked up from your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter (07:30pm – 08:00pm).

  • Departure: Sleeper bus leaves Hanoi at 09:00pm.

  • Arrival (03:30am): Arrive in Ha Giang city and check into a dorm room for a few hours of rest.

  • 09:00am – Briefing: Meet your English-speaking guide and easy rider to start the “Ha Giang Loop tour.”

  • Bac Sum → Quan Ba: Conquer Bac Sum Pass, visit Quan Ba Heaven Gate and the Twin Mountains.

  • Can Ty → Tham Ma Pass: Navigate through scenic mountain passes and the legendary Tham Ma switchbacks.

  • H’mong King’s Palace: Explore the historic residence of the H’mong King with its unique fusion architecture.

  • 05:00pm – Check-in: Overnight in Dong Van with dinner and a “Happy water – Sunset party.”

  • 09:00am – Departure: Visit Ma Pi Leng Pass, hike the Sky Path, and take a boat trip on the Nho Que River.

  • M-shape → Ban An: Ride through the iconic M-shape rock formation and visit Ban An stream/cave.

  • Lung Ho → Du Gia Village: Journey through Lung Ho Village and arrive at Du Gia to experience the local atmosphere.

  • 05:00pm: Enjoy dinner and a “Happy water – Sunset party” at your homestay/hostel.

  • 09:00am: Take a tour around the village, hike to nearby waterfalls, and enjoy swimming at Du Gia waterfall.

  • Thai An → Ha Giang: Have lunch at Thai An or Ha Giang city on the way back.

  • 03:00pm – End Tour: Arrive back in Ha Giang city. You can take a free shower at the hostel.

  • 08:30pm: Board the sleeper bus for your return journey to Hanoi.
